Hot Chocolate Drop – Limitless Youth

Youth is Back and Starting the Hot Chocolate Drop Again! This week youth night returns – open to any young people Year 6 to Year 13. Thursday nights 7-8:30pm at the Church Community centre during term times.  Youth Outreach is also starting back this week. Toddlers & Co

Exciting news! We are planning to start a toddlers and babies group from Monday, 20th September 2021 here at the Gatehouse Community Centre. It will be for mums, dads, aunties, uncles, grandparents and people that are looking after children, to bring their little ones for some fun.

Picnic in the Park

We will be having a picnic in Stanley Park after church on Sunday, 12th September. Come along and enjoy the day with us. Bring and share whatever you will be having for your lunch or just turn up. You will be very welcome!

Art Classes at the Gatehouse

Art classes in acrylic, painting and drawing are once again being offered by one of our partners here at the Gatehouse. Karen is offering these classes at no charge, so come along and learn a new skill. At the same time meet new friends and have some fellowship! Praying for South Shore

The time to pray for breakthrough in our area and for the church has not stopped. So we need everyone to get involved. We will meet at church for a short time of prayer and encouragement, and then go to a part of South Shore. Then, in pairs, walk through the area praying and also ask people who we meet, how they would like us to pray. We’ll then return for a quick debrief and time of prayer at church.…

Fundraising Cycle – Blackpool to Skegness

This year’s Coast2Coast fundraising cycle ride for Elim Missions will be a 300km cycle from Blackpool to Skegness over the course of 3 days. This event is to raise funds to train and send missionaries to plant churches. The nations that God is focusing them on are Guatemala, Peru, Finland, Greece, Botswana, Lesotho, Fiji and more. We see women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy for a whole variety of reasons. Menu bags for children – Update

Kay’s update: We have now completed the menu/food bags distribution. The schools and families were so appreciative of all the help. We won’t continue giving menu/food bags to the schools at the moment because we’ve linked them up with Blackpool Food Bank and they will get food supplies from the food bank themselves directly. However, we will continue to keep up our links with the schools.
