About The Gatehouse

The Gatehouse Church has been part of the Elim Pentecostal denomination since 1935. Elim was founded in 1915 and emerged as a radical church planting and pioneering movement which saw whole cities impacted by the gospel. Today it has a movement of Pentecostal churches working in the UK, Ireland and over 40 nations around the world, with over 550 churches in the UK and Ireland.

As a leadership we aim to:

  • Have a thriving church, with warm, attractive and modern facilities.
  • Have services that are relevant to people of all ages.
  • Provide a programme to cater for all ages throughout the week.
  • Be a place where people will be getting saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, healed, set free and nurtured as new Christians.
  • Grow together as disciples and have opportunities to use and develop our gifts and ministries.
  • Carry out the mission of Jesus by proclaiming the Gospel in innovative ways, in both word and deed in Blackpool and across the world.

Our Sunday services are at 10.30am at the church and also livestreamed on our YouTube channel. Here at the Gatehouse there are many events happening during the week that you may want to visit or get involved in.

There are various ways you can get in touch, please go to the contact page for more details.
