Sacrificial Giving & Thanks
On Sunday Neville and the leadership expressed their thanks to everyone for the way that they have engaged and supported A Building Fit for Purpose project so far. Many of our Gatehouse members and affiliates have given sacrificially and have committed to give sacrificially in future and are so invested in it. They believe in what we're about as a church, as being a family on mission.
A part of that is having facilities that are fit for purpose. So we had some mugs produced to give away as gifts to everyone in the service. Every time we use the mug we can think about the building project and can pray for it. We can also look at ourselves and think we're fit for purpose! We can pray over ourselves and our families that we will be fit for purpose! The purpose that God has for us.
Neville felt a strong sense of the prophetic side of it and produced a little scripture verse inside each mug. Some of our Limitless Kids Club children read out the verses to the congregation.

A prayer for a Building Fit for Purpose:
Dear Lord, You're the Alpha and the Omega, and you're worthy to be praised. Buildings are temporary structures, but Lord, you have a plan for them. We thank you for this building fit for purpose. We trust you for the roof, the asbestos removal, for the solar panels and the developed heating system, for the front doors and entrance area.
We thank you Father, for the money that has come in so far and being promised and Lord we thank you for the rest of the money that you've got in store, for the miracle that you've got in store to multiply that money. But Lord, we trust you and we thank you that you've called us to be co-labourers with you. We declare this place to be a building fit for purpose. We declare this church to be a church that is fit for purpose with people getting saved, baptised, healed, set free, baptised in the Holy Spirit and administering the anointing of the Holy Spirit and becoming disciples. Lord, we declare that this is a church fit for purpose, and we bless you Jesus for that. We want our own lives and our families and our businesses to represent that. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
