We are often asked how people can make a contribution towards the work of the Gatehouse Church, to projects that we are involved in, or for the upkeep of our church building. This page will enable you to make a secure donation should you wish to do so at a time and location that is convenient to you.
The financial needs of The Gatehouse are met via the generosity of church partners, visitors and fund raising efforts.
It is by God’s grace and through this generosity that the ministry, projects (local and international) and building maintenance are able to continue. We are thankful to God for His provision.
You also have the option to securely register your details with Paythru to speed up any future donations.
Gift aid
Gift Aid allows UK charities to claim back the basic rate tax already paid on donations by the donor. This means we can claim back from the government on your behalf 25p for every £1 donated, boosting the value of your donation by a quarter.
Mobile app Givt
There is good news for members who don’t carry cash anymore: you’ll be able to contribute tithes and offerings using your smartphone. For this you’ll need the Givt app – which you can download from App Store or Google Play. You will need to register your details but once that is done you will be ready to keep on giving whenever you want to. The app will keep a record of all of your gift aid amounts too.
