Praying for South Shore

The time to pray for breakthrough in our area and for the church has not stopped. So we need everyone to get involved. We will meet at church for a short time of prayer and encouragement, and then go to a part of South Shore. Then, in pairs, walk through the area praying and also ask people who we meet, how they would like us to pray. We’ll then return for a quick debrief and time of prayer at church.…

Robinsons – Nigeria

Tim & Ali Robinson together with their son, Dan came to the Gatehouse recently to share with us their work with the Summer Institute of Linguistics Nigeria Ltd (SIL Nigeria). SIL is one of Wycliffe Bible Translators’ field partners.

Fundraising Cycle – Blackpool to Skegness

This year’s Coast2Coast fundraising cycle ride for Elim Missions will be a 300km cycle from Blackpool to Skegness over the course of 3 days. This event is to raise funds to train and send missionaries to plant churches. The nations that God is focusing them on are Guatemala, Peru, Finland, Greece, Botswana, Lesotho, Fiji and more. Pregnancy Crisis Centre

Pregnancy Centres Network was set up to support over 70 independent Christian pregnancy centres across the UK who all work with a non-directional, non-judgemental ethos. We see women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy for a whole variety of reasons. Limitless Blackpool

Paula Tamaki, Gatehouse Youth Leader shared an update at a recent Sunday service about their new dynamic youth ministry called Limitless Blackpool. Limitless Blackpool aims to be a family orientated group, centered around family. Volunteer roles will include all generations in the church so that we will be nurturing, serving and encouraging the youth. The Youth group is aimed at year 7-13.
