This session examines how we can put on spiritual armour by living out the first 3 items mentioned in Ephesians 6 and how that enables to take our stand in the spiritual battle.
The idea of truth is examined in this sermon. We see that truth is completely seen in the person of Jesus, it is seen in the written word of God and is something for people to live according to.
Carrying on with the story of David and Goliath, we review what David was putting his faith in – namely the name of God and that God would fight for him and also we see the importance of declaring God’s name and victory out loud.
Based on Isaiah 33:5-6 we see how the fear of the Lord is the key to unlocking God’s treasures of salvation, wisdom and knowledge and how the Lord is a firm foundation in our times.
This final talk in the series shows us that an authentic walk with the Holy Spirit gives us freedom to be ourselves as given by the grace of God. We need to be born again, learn to understand our position in Christ but also embrace our individuality. This is God’s plan for us.
